A stormy south helps us appreciate our harsh winters

… The Wild and Wet Day was held Wednesday evening with a large group of youngsters and a couple of young at heart participating in the fun and food. The adults wanting to stay dry were careful to sit on the parsonage deck which is the safe zone at these affairs. Another fun evening is scheduled for the first Wednesday in August. Pastor Sue Whitesell and the Christian Education Board are dreaming a dream of an event every Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Membership or event attendance at Mooresville Friends is not a requirement for coming — they especially want to reach out to neighborhood youngsters without a church home nearby.
