.. The tiny Henry County community's two churches, Salem Friends and Salem Congregation, have joined forces this week for "Holy Land Adventure — Jerusalem Marketplace," a vacation Bible school offering kids and their folks a peek back to when the New Testament stories really were new.

"It's hands on," said the Rev. Tom Palmer of Salem Friends Church. "It's not the typical, 'Here's the Bible story.' "
