Dear Friends,

An humanitarian volunteer and member of Tigard Community Friends Church in Oregon, USA, was wounded in an attack in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa. The church asks for donations for her medical care. Please make checks payable to the church. Friends and meetings are of course welcome to send letters and cards in care of the church also. Please send these to the Church’s post office box listed in the newspaper articles. Please see Humanitarian Assistance

On a brighter note, an interesting story, related to Spanish-speaking Friends, comes from Yorba Linda, California, USA. Please see Religious Faith / Diversity

The Joseph Rowntree Trust, a Quaker UK financier of progressive projects, is in the news as it has divested of a war stock. Please see Business
